Oxford Houses in Ghana

In 2009, Recovery Africa and the Hopeful Way Foundation established an Oxford House, transitional housing, in Accra. The house has been operating successfully since that time thanks to dedicated Ghanaians and Oxford House, Inc. Two additional houses, one for women, have been started. A chapter made up the existing houses has been formed. Over 160 residents have lived in the houses, ranging from a few weeks to several years.

Over 80% of residents in the three houses who stayed three months or longer have remained clean and sober
